i am looking for a bass control knob to run through onto my dash for my pioneer gm-3300t amp. i have seen ones advertised on ebay but only for audiobahn amps. any suggestions on where to get one would be great. thanks
that amplifier "pioneer gm-3300t" does not come ready for use with such a bass control knob. amplifiers that are capable to use a knob have a square hole similar to the one for a home phone jack. they also use a cable similar to the one used for a home phone.
an alternative would be using a bass processor similar to an Epicenter
this is a very good bass enhancer processors. another one is the RockFord Fosgate 3Sixty which is the top one.
both allows the user to control the bass strenght from a knob which can be placed close to the driver.
but the 3Sixty.2 allows the user to control it through a cellphone and have many settings which allows you to tune everything to your likeing.
on the cheaper side,
i think some companies sell a product that goes on the RCA cable heading towards the amp and has a knob too on the device. i think it acts similar to the one that comes with amplifiers but i cant find a website that sells them.
imo, it would be a better investment in getting a good brand equalizer that either can be installed in a place which can not be seen and comes with a remote knob, or install an equalizer which goes by the stereo and does a very good job.
